An inspection from the Harken Tech Team can help ensure your team’s best performance yet. Request a pre-race inspection or tune-up.

House Call Details

We’ll come to you — When you request an inspection, tell us your boat’s location. If maintenance is required, it will be priced immediately. Most recommended work can be completed before the starting gun. Each inspection also comes with a list of recommended maintenance and equipment upgrades that can be executed at a later date along with contact information for your Tech Team representative. Only one representative of your team needs to be present during inspection or service. Materials (furling line, pawls, springs, grease, oil, etc.) are available but not included in the hourly rate.

SERVICE PACKAGES

Visual Inspection of All Harken Systems

Package 1
Get a Grand Prix shore team’s perspective on what’s working properly and what might be a problem — for one fixed price.
Boats 30-42': $110/hr
Boats 42' & up: $160/hr
Winch Workover

Package 2
Complete disassembly and on-deck cleaning of all interior parts for Harken winches through size 60. Grand Prix and pedestal systems not included. Boats 60’ and below: $135/hr.
Traveler Triage

Package 3
Complete traveler track and car cleaning, bearing lubrication, and indicated replacement. $110/hr.
Furler Facelift

Package 4
Complete cleaning and adjustment of furler drums and housing. Removal and reloading of furling line overrides. Installation of customer-supplied furling line. $110/hr.
